THE COVETED CERTIFICATE

Earlier this year Van Dievel Transport received the ISO 9001 certificate.
The quality story of the company is one of several years of hard work to comply with legal regulations and customers' needs. As such, the quality certificate firstly rewards the efforts of management, employees and drivers to provide a quality transport on a daily basis.

It is also an encouragement to maintain high quality standards and it provides an incentive to improve the service level even more.
Everyone at Van Dievel Transport knows that opting for quality is hard work.

NOMINEES SAFETY AWARD 2002

In 2002 Van Dievel Transport was one of the six companies nominated for the Safety Award. One of these companies was the much larger transport company TTS from the French-speaking part of Belgium, which eventually received the award. Van Dievel Transport got the honourable mention for its many years of continuous efforts to make defensive driving a daily habit for its drivers.
The jury also praised the management's initiative to equip all DAF XF tractors with a blind angle window.

LAUREATE OF THE AWARD 'HEALTH AND ENTERPRISE 2002'

In 2002 Van Dievel Transport was one of the three laureates for the award 'Health and Enterprise' of the European Health Club for its action 'My back is devilishly important'.
At this moment the European Health Club has branches in eight countries of the European Union (a. o. Belgium) and is acknowledged by the World Health Organisation. It also has an advisory role with the European Council.
The action consisted of a training with the title 'My back is devilishly important'. The training course was also published in a booklet with the same title. This booklet clearly explains which preventive actions the company takes to help you to use your back and your joints without hurting them.
Every new driver we hire receives this booklet when he/she joins the company.

ST. NICHOLAS AWARD 2001

At the end of 2001 Van Dievel Transport received the St. Nicholas Award from the association 'Parents of children who perished during a road accident'.
With this award the association wanted to stimulate the management to install the 'blind spot window' in the right door of the tractor. In the meantime DAF XF tractors (39) have been equipped with the blind spot window.
